Bix is located in a romantic alley in San Francisco's charming Jackson Square conveniently straddling the city's financial district and North Beach.

A lone neon sign points the way past the nondescript brick facade into a soaring room of fluted columns, mahogany paneling, plush banquettes and distinguished artwork including the now legendary, “The Butler’s in Love” hanging above the baby grand piano.

Jacketed bartenders hold forth behind the gently curved bar mixing what many believe to be the city’s best classic cocktails. Variously called a civilized speakeasy, a supper club and an elegant saloon, Bix offers modern American cuisine served in a soaring two story dining room to the strains of nightly live Jazz.
