BIX is available for private parties both lunch and dinner every day except Friday nights. Although we do not have a private function room, the entire restaurant can be reserved on a “buy-out” basis. We are able to seat a maximum of 100 persons, split fairly evenly between the main floor and mezzanine. There are approximately 20 tables, seating four to eight persons each.
We can also accommodate standing receptions and cocktail parties of up to 150. If you book the restaurant, it is available for the entire evening and includes the following:
- Customized, personalized menus
- Open bar during cocktail hour
- Passed hot and cold hors d'oeuvres during cocktail hour (minimum six types)
- Cocktail receptions offer up to 16 different passed appetizers
- First course (to be discussed)
- Choice of three quality main courses (to be discussed)
- Dessert, coffee and after-dinner drinks (total beverage allowance of $5,000)
- Live entertainment of up to three musicians (piano, bass, sax, etc.)
- Limited valet parking, tax and service
We charge a minimum flat rate for seated dinners or standing receptions. There is an added premium for Saturday evenings. Sunday evenings, luncheons and weekend day events are negotiable and depend upon menu, size of group, etc.
Not included but available from our sources are flowers, balloons, rentals (audio-visual, etc.) or extra entertainment. We have a complete professional sound system, which includes a microphone.
Terms: 45-day minimum notice. Advance deposit (check only) of $5,000, 30 days in advance. Balance due on the day of the event. BIX accepts all credit cards, cash or pre-approved check.
